Clothing for Migrants

Clothing Donations and Donations of Personal Care Items for Migrants can be arranged with the Church of the Ascension.

The Church has a Refugee Free Store for the area.
Families Can Shop here on Wednesdays.

Park Community Church at 1001 N Crosby
is Collecting Clothing for Refugee Free Stores in Rogers Park.

Park Community Church 1001 N Crosby has a donation center located by the NE corner of the parking garage, donations can be put on the picnic tables. The garage is open during business hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat and Sun 8-noon. They are collecting winter clothing (shirts, sweaters/sweatshirts, pants, boots, tennis shoes, hats, gloves, coats, socks, new underwear) for Migrants. It is helpful if you can label bags with the size and what type of clothing (example: Women’s shirts and pants size small). The clothing will go to Migrants in Uptown and at various shelters in Chicago. If you have further questions contact Ruth 312-833-2569.

Project Education Plus has regular After School tutoring and now English Language Learning tutoring.

Nov 27 Seminar – State’s Attorney’s Office 101 and Pretrial Fairness Act

This is an important in-person educational presentation hosted by the 18th District CPD and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office to learn how criminal cases proceed through the justice system and an overview of the Illinois Pretrial Fairness Act.
