Friends of the Parks, the Chicago Park District, and the 2014 PAC Planning Committee are pleased to announce that the 2014 Park Advocacy Conference has been set for Saturday, March 29, 2014!  The 5th annual Conference will be held in the historic South Shore Cultural Center. This year’s theme Chicago… Children… Community… Commitment will focus on tools that will help park advisory councils and community groups to strengthen programming for children young and old and engage all community members in strengthening their parks.

A new addition to the conference will be a resource fair for city and sister agencies to help share services and information.
