Cabrini Now Wrap Up Community Event – October 5th

Cabrini NOW Wrap-Up Community Event
Monday October 5th
5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

All are invited to the Cabrini NOW wrap-up community event.
CHA will present an overview of the final plan to community members and discuss next steps.

The final report outlines the development framework for the approximately 43 acres of CHA-owned sites remaining for redevelopment in Cabrini and reflects the outcomes of a year-long planning and community engagement process. Sites include rowhouses, Sedgwick Sites, Division Sites, and Larrabee Sites. The 43 acres are physically split between 27 acres of vacant land, 14 acres of vacant rowhouses, and 2 acres currently occupied by urban farms. The comprehensive framework is designed to construct over 4,000 mixed-income housing units while adding roughly 8 acres of open green space and park connectivity across these sites.

The event will be held from 5:30-7:00pm on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Ogden-Jenner School (1119 N. Cleveland Ave.). This will be a family-friendly event in a wheelchair-accessible space with refreshments, seating, and restrooms.
