April is 9-1-1 Education Month – Tips for Calling 9-1-1
The Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) wants to remind residents to be aware of their surroundings and to report suspicious activity. If you notice something suspicious please call 9-1-1. If You See Something, Say Something™ is a national anti-terrorism public awareness campaign that emphasizes the importance of reporting suspicious activity to law enforcement authorities.
When calling 9-1-1, you should always remember the 5 Ws:
National Child Abuse Prevention Month – Drive to collect for Maryville Crisis Center
Our 018 Community Policing Office does a lot of great work helping out those in need in the community from kids to seniors. This is an opportunity to help support their work and do some good for those families in need. Consider starting a drive in your building by identifying a drop off point for residents and finding an individual who is willing to take the items to the CPD drop off location. We can make a difference. CLICK HERE for a copy of this flyer.
