Thursday Nights in May –  Musical Tribute from the Peninsula – Songs for the City!

During this time of isolation, music can be an especially uplifting and powerful way to bring the community together, while still observing social distancing. The hotel offers a weekly musical tribute to celebrate the city and thank our frontline workers.

Each Thursday in May a Trio of The Peninsula musicians will perform live, upbeat music to celebrate the city from the Z Bar rooftop terrace. Z Bar’s canopy will be lit in blue as further tribute to health care community accompanied by a giant heart on building façade to represent the hotel’s love for community and the city.

Weekly performances begin at 8:00 pm central time and lasts 15 to 20 minutes. Area residents and responders can listen and sing along from their homes. For those that live a little further away, tune in to the Peninsula’s Facebook or Instagram pages to watch a live stream of the performances.
