Friends of the Chicago River to hold “Tuesdays in the Tower” on the Riverwalk

5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

CHICAGO (August 1, 2017) – Friends of the Chicago River announces the first “Tuesdays in the Tower” after-hours event at the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum. Tying in with the Chicago Riverwalk’s 2nd Tuesdays, this is a unique chance to explore the Bridgehouse Museum after hours with music, drink, and prizes. Flapunco, a new Latin-influenced  folk rock band comprised of actress, singer-songwriter Lisa Zane and Spanish guitarist Rafael Vivanco perform on the museum plaza while guests explore one of the city’s most iconic bridgetowers. Enjoy the live musical set and views of the bustling city from the top of the tower where once only bridge tender’s used to occupy.

Tickets are priced at $20 each or two for $35. Each admission will receive two drink tickets good for red wine, beer, hard soda, or non-alcoholic options. A raffle with prizes perfect for the summer includes four tickets in a lower box seat for the Chicago White Sox and two tickets to Six Flags Great America.
