On Monday, October 27, 2014, every veteran visiting The Anti-Cruelty Society during regular business hours to find that special four-legged companion to add to their family will have their adoption fees waived thanks to a generous donation from our friends at Fifth Third Bank (all standard adoption requirements apply).
If adoptions exceed the donated gift, a special patriotic 17.76% discount will be offered to each veteran adopting a new animal friend. Join Illinois State Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka, Chicago City Clerk Susana A.Mendoza, ABC 7 News’ Janet Davies, Robert Sullivan, President & CEO, Fifth Third Bank(Chicago),and Robyn Barbiers, D.V.M., President of The Anti-Cruelty Society, from12 noon to1:30 p.m. at The Anti-Cruelty Society located at 510 North LaSalle Street (free parking at Wells Street lot, located south of Grand Avenue).
