Looking for a way to kick off the summer and support a great cause? Look no further than “Charity on Tap”, taking place at the Rock Bottom Brewery in River North on June 8th.

The evening will benefit Heartland Alliance’s Refugee & Immigrant Community Services Program (RICS).   Proceeds from the event will be used to support recently arrived refugees from countries experiencing war and conflict, to help them get on their feet in Chicago. The money raised will provide rental support and CTA passes to help ease the burden of settling into a new environment so different from the home the left behind.   For more information about Heartland Alliance RICS click here.

Thanks to some various generous sponsors the evening will feature a raffle and silent auction for prizes such as in-home wine tasting, French lessons, a Binny’s gift card, and spa gift certificates from local Chicago salons. Tickets are $40 and will include all-you-can-drink home-brewed beer, house wine, and one specialty cocktail for 2 hours (6:00 pm – 8:00 pm) as well as a delicious array of appetizers, and a donation to Heartland Alliance.
