Board members and owners in condo, townhome and HOAs often site the dysfunctionality and the possible illegalities of how their association operates. Individuals living in a community association who are tired of Boards sparring with managers, owners and each other and yearning for harmony and unity are urged to attend an all-day program on Sat., April 12 at the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations’ Spring Conference.
Several attorneys, managers and board members will provide insights into the causes and effects of common dysfunctions, and practical steps to prevent them from taking possession of an Association in the first place. The second portion will focus on legal and fiduciary requirements with the third hour devoted to methods and solutions for a fully functional and well-run association.
ACTHA is the largest not-for-profit statewide organization in Illinois focused on board members and owners in community associations. The mission is to provide information and education. Other seminars will be offered at the Spring Conference along with an “Ask an Attorney” panel and free trade show with 100+ exhibitors.
