CPD Upcoming Foot Pursuit Policy Community Conversations – 6/30 and 7/10


The Chicago Police Department invites you to attend an upcoming virtual community conversation regarding its new interim foot pursuit policy. CPD will host two community conversations open to the public when you will have an opportunity to learn about the new policy and provide your feedback on it.

 

 

 

Agenda for the conversation includes:

  • Overview of the Foot Pursuit policy
  • Questions from participants
  • Break-out rooms to discuss various concepts and parts of the policy

Due to capacity, community conversations will be limited to 200 participants per conversation. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.

Unable to attend but still want to learn more and provide your feedback? CPD is also accepting comments on the policy and responses to a public input form until July 15th, 2021.

CPD invites you to review the interim policy and make comments and recommendations on it. To read the policy and provide your feedback, click here. Public comments will be open until July 15, 2021.

Public Input Form
CPD has launched an anonymous input form that asks various questions around foot pursuits. These questions will allow you to provide feedback on specific components of the foot pursuit policy. Responses to this form are entirely anonymous.
