2012 River North Film Festival

Chicago Park District MIP

Since 2006, the RNRA has hosted free outdoor films for the public. The program is coordinated by our Park Advisory Council, which works with the Park District on programming and capital improvement projects. Movies are selected based on resident input collected through online surveys.

Film Crowd Film Screen Film Popcorn

All films are shown on the riverfront in beautiful A. Montgomery Ward Park (map).

Attendees are provided with trash bags, printed programs and fresh, hot popcorn.  Guests are encouraged to come early and stake out a favorite spot for their blanket, but the Park District asks us to remind everyone that alcohol is not permitted on park property. Each event begins with a few introductory remarks followed by the evening's film, which will start approximately at sunset. Email PAC Chair Isabelle Baird here with questions or comments.

First Properties

First Properties brings a unique perspective to the Chicagoland property management landscape, as we manage only condominium, homeowner (townhome), and co-op associations. We focus all of our energy on meeting the needs of today's community associations and their members.

Community association management is markedly different from other types of property management and requires a focused approach to be performed properly. Community management is more than just managing "property" or buildings--it's managing people and personalities as well.

Poetry FoundationPoetry Foundation: A leader in shaping
a receptive climate for poetry

The Poetry Foundation, publisher of Poetry magazine, is an independent literary
organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture. It exists to discover and celebrate the best poetry and to place it before the largest possible audience.

A Home for Poetry in Chicago

When it opens in June 2011, the building will house the Poetry Foundation’s programming offices—including the offices of Poetry magazine, the poetry institute, and the online, media, and youth initiatives—as well as provide new space for the Foundation’s extensive roster of public programs and events. Like other dedicated poetry spaces around the country, the Poetry Foundation building will be a physical manifestation of the nationwide resurgence of poetry in  American culture.
